Ok, so it's my first post. I suppose I should write about myself huh? A good place to start don't ya think?
Well, my name is Jayden. My middle name is Benjamin. Aaaand my surname is (yes, everyone laugh) Carr. Although my birth certificate says different. so HA! Currently at this very moment I am 17.89652552792354 years old. I live in a tiny iddy biddy spot on a map of a country no ones heard of plonked somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean (to be correct, it's really in the southern ocean, but who cares?)
I have not long finished High school and exams (yay -____-) and I am now painfully trying to find a job. I say it's painful, because truly it is. In the last few weeks I've applied for about 10 jobs and had two rejections so far. One because I'm leaving in april (more on that later) and one because they filled the position internally. I hope the operation to fill it wasn't too bad.
I myself have never had an operation as I have nothing wrong with me :). Well, thats a lie.. That bumpy sticky outy bone thats supposed to be on the outer side of your wrist is missing from my right arm after I managed to break it falling off monkey bars on a wet day. Apparently I'm not a very good monkey. Also I had a weird bone growth off the left side of my hip when I was about 8. All sorts of tests and prodding me with sharp instruments followed. I didn't need surgery there as it corrected itself apparently (remembering I actually can't see through skin).
Next april (I checked my calendar and the next one isn't till 2009~!) I am going to a university type thing in a place thats a slightly larger splot on the map. This university specialises in Japanese language and ESOL. I was subsequently offered a scholarship to study there for $26,000 for one year. It sounds like alot, and it is, but when the university costs literally 6 times more than public universities it puts it into perspective. That sum covers just tuition fees hence the scrambling to find a job. I intend to study towards a "diploma of japanese studies" for one year. After the first year if I really like it there I'll continue study into the "bachelor of international studies" which potentially could take me places but isn't my biggest passion. Alternatively, I will leave at the end of 2009 with my diploma and head to Wellington to take up linguistics (my true passion). But I'm not sure yet. Plus I want to go to Wellington to be with my friends and the ones I love. But we will see won't we. I have a year to decide.
Anyways, enough on that.
I'll find something to post about later -_____-
Oooo I've just been delivered cheese crackers ^^
Over and out.
Jayden

I'd indeed read something about your surnames (Carr versus something that looked Welsh), and I was going to ask about it, but totally forgot.
And yes, first time I read your blog. It's just a sleepless night, and I found it accidentally. So hi.
